You signed up for Twitter.
You got to a million followers in 25 hours and 17 minutes.
You got there without saying anything.
Now, a few days later, you have over 2 million followers. People hang on your every word.
Your business is like Charlie Sheen.
Right?

Wrong!
Let’s be honest…Your business will never get to 1 million Twitter followers.
You’d be happy with 1 thousand followers.
People will not follow your business just because of you are a celebrity.
Nobody is hanging on your every word.
In fact, nobody cares what you have to say.
Not yet anyway.
So what can you do if your business is not Charlie Sheen?
Here are a few suggestions to help get you started on Twitter:
When you sign up for Twitter, complete your entire profile. Include your real name, a picture of you, and a link to your website…BEFORE you follow your first person.
Then…
- Treat every person who follows you with respect.
- Don’t be overly self-promotional.
- Be thoughtful in every tweet.
- Ask yourself: “Do my ideal customers care about what I’m about to share?” If not, don’t share it.
