Postling Pushes Posts to Many Places

In the ways of the digital maven, one must always test and explore the services available and this post is actually a test of Postling (www.postling.com) blog post creation tool.

I've signed up for a free account (less than 60 seconds)

Added my Facebooks, Twitter, and WordPress credentials (less than 2 minutes) and am now typing my first blog post that should populate in TurningMinds.com as well as the company Facebook and my personal facebook account as well as LinkedIn – automatically through one interface. Other options include Blogger, Typepad, Tumblr, Flickr, and Drupal.

Other than the blog function, the Postling tool seems to represent my Twitter and Facebook stream well and you can tweet and do status updates easily through its interface.  The overall presentation and UI is different, but functionally seems similar to HootSuite (which you now have to pay for).

The tool also includes analytics and keyword monitorinig, but only to premium accounts.  I'll see how that goes later I suppose.

In any event, I look forward to seeing how this tool works out. Have you used it? Any tips or advice?

// Interesting side note. Right before publishing, once I selected my WP blog, Postling provides a drop down box for selecting the blog category you want to post too. In this case, I selected "apps" and noticed after selection that another dropped down became available.  Nifty.  I also noticed that it does not tell me why I incorrectly spell a word – so there may be typos in this piece! And for grins, I scheduled this to post later instead of immediately.
